Chapter 1: Beginning
My name is pranav, 27 year old, software professional in Mumbai. I completed graduation in arts and as there is not much jobs in that sector i took some fake certificates on computer science and managed to get on software job in Mumbai. Since then I'm struggling with the job, there is lot of work pressure as i am not aware of computer technology. On top of that i married to a non-working girl ( arranged marriage). So with small salary it is very difficult to live in Mumbai. Sometimes i used to do part time jobs like data entry operator to satisfy house needs.
My wife is house-wife and as every house-wife in India she like watching TV serials. She participate in SMS quiz contests of every serial she watches. In one of the serial's SMS contest , she got a chance to go to the serial shooting set and talk with the crew. She went there and she gave some suggestions to the crew. They got impressed and they frequently takes my wife suggestion on the serial story. Director Rohit become good friend of my wife.
Chapter 2: Lost Job, wife suggestion
As time is passing like this, suddenly because of rescission I lost my job. Even after trying for another job I am unable to get the job because of my worst skill set.
One day while i was searching for job vacancies in paper, my wife was sitting next to me and keep on staring at me and smiling.
I asked, "Why are you staring at me with the smile".
She told, "Nothing, Today Rohit called and saying that serial's main female lead is leaving the serials as she is getting married to NRI".
"So you are worried about the Serial! There is no concern for you on losing my job."
"Honey, I am worried, but there is nothing i can do about that. Serial is in such a situation where female lead role is important for shooting and we cant change the face of the character".
"So why are you staring at me".
She slowly told by holding my hand, "Darling. we lost our income source. House rent is also pending from last two months. At any time owner will throw us out of the flat. So i found one job for you, all our finance issues will go away , if you accept that.".
" I am ready to do any work now.
It is a high time now. What is the job? Where you got that?".
"Its our luck that, your face looks like the female lead in that serial"
"Are you gone mad? How can i be fit in a female role? No way, i wont do that".
"So what do you want to do? Staying in home like this forever? What is your problem. Nobody will notice you, you will go in car to the shooting and on return you will be back to normal male cloths."
"But. How come?"
"Darling, you just need to work in her role for couple of weeks. I showed your photo to Rohit, and he is amazed with the similarities."
I don't have any choice, i need to earn money to satisfy daily needs. So i said OK to my wife. My wife is very happy with that and she kissed me and told to Rohit.
Chapter 3: First shoot
We woke up early in morning 7AM. We have to be at shooting by 10AM. We took the bath together, my wife removed all my body hair by applying Hair removal cream. naturally i have less hair on hands and chest. After coming from bath i wore pant and shirt and we both went to shooting.
My wife introduced me to Rohit , he is very happy that i agreed to the proposal.
We went to makeup room at the shooting place. There are lot of women doing makeup for their roles. By looking the ladies with heavy makeup and jewelry, i got afraid and asked my wife, "
Do I need to do the same for my role?", She said, "No!". I got relaxed by hearing that. But immediately my
wife continued, "You are lead female, the makeup and jewelery will be more for you unlike others. Today is function in the serial, so you need to wear jewelery as traditional Indian girl.
While we are talking, one lady came to us. My wife said "Hey! Sushama..how are you?". She replied. " I am good. Is this the guy, who is going to replace the heroin? He looks like her. Where
did you found him". My wife replied to her saying he is my friends brother. Sushma left the place by saying , "Come we need prepare him for the role".
Once she left I asked my wife slowly, "Why you told I am your friends brother". She said, "Apart from Rohit, nobody knows you are my husband. I don't want people to know
this". Sushma shouted from inside, "Come! It is getting late".
I went inside with my wife, sushma looked at me from top to bottom and said to her self "From
where should I start". She gave me one cover and asked me to change my dress. I went to changing room,
my wife is also came with me. As I was removing my cloths, my wife opened the cover. There is heavy red color saree and matching blouse and petticoat. Inside my heart i was saying, "Do i need to do this? There is no option? And there is no way. I have to do it".
My wife gave the petticoat first and it is simple to wear, next she gave a bra to wear. I took the bra with the hesitation and tried to wear it. Looking at my difficulties my wife told, "Do you understand how difficult to wear a bra" and she fixed the hooks at my backside. She kept silicon cups inside the bra which sushma handled over to my wife while coming inside the change room.
After that blouse fits perfectly fit on my fake breasts. I told to my wife, "It
is very tight". She said, "Honey! That's perfect and women's blouses will be like that only, and you should get used to that from now".
She wrapped the
saree on me and we went outside to make
up room. Sushma is waiting there with long black wig in he
r hand. There are few other ladies there in the
room. I felt shy to go in front of them and made my head down. They laughed at m
e and said, "Look! He is already involved in the role. He is bringing his down like
a newly married girl". I raised my head and went to sushma and sat down on the chair. Sushma kept the wig and asked me to close my eyes as she has to do some eye makeup. She took long time to apply mascara, kajal. When i opened my eyes and looked in to the mirror I found my eyebrows are shaped and now they look like arch
es. I was very disappointed with that and asked my wife, "Hoe can
go out with this eyebrows. ", She told, " Right! You can't. So you have stay like a women till
the serial is over".
Sushma applied lip liner and red lipstick and my wife helped her by wearing me the anklets and bangles.
Rohit came came inside the makeup room and looked at me and said, "Hmm.. He looks like her, but nose and forehead are little big. But no
problem. We can fix it later. For today lets complete the shooting, sushma..hide the forehead with wig so that he looks like her.."
As I am new to
acting, there is not much my role in today's shooting, i just have to sit idle in the screen. After shooting, my wife came and hold me from back and said, " I can understand you situation. I am with you".
I felt happy by hearing that and I change
d to Jeans and T-Shirt, and went back to home. With arched eyebrows and clean shaven face, Anybody who looks my face, he will take some time to identify whether i'm a women or man.
Chapter 4: New contract
One day in shooting
Rohit and my wife came to me and my wife told, "Rohit is ready to give new contract of worth 1Cro
re, if you are ready proceed with this role
forever." One Crore! is too much for my entire life
and moreover i am used to the acting and involved in the role. So i said
OK. On the same day
my wife took me to the doctor by saying small alignment for my nose and forehead. Doctor took my facial X-rays and blood test. And he gave one room to us. One nurse came and put saline bottle to me, it has sleeping chemical inside and I fell into deep sleep".
When I woke-up, I found bandage on face and thought she did some minor surgery to my nose. Immediately i felt pain at my geniticals. With pain I shouted. My wife came to me and said, "Nothing to worry! Operation was successful". I asked, "What operation? Why the pain is at my bottom". She replied, "You only agreed and signed the document by saying you are going to be as female lead in the serial". I asked, " So? What the relation between the contract and the pain at bottom". She replied, "To satisfy the female lead contract one need to be female first. That is what the operation is for. Castration is done succesfuly and now it molded to look like female parts. Doctor told this is the best SRS surgery he has done in his life". By hearing that words my heart is almost stopped and i fainted and fell in to sleep again.
When I woke up again facial bandage is not there. Pain at my private parts is also little less. My wife is sitting next to me. I asked, "Why did you do this? What are you getting by this? You ruined my life". She replied, " I will answer all your questions, but there is one thing you should know first.
You are unfit to be a man, and you also know that. You are very sensitive and unable to work for long. Moreover you are bad in the bed. You deserve to be women. Just think how your life will turn from now onwards.". She continued after giving some pause, "You asked what i will get. Right? I will get rohit. I am in relationship with rohit from last couple of months. I will marry him.". I asked, "What about me?". She told, "Sorry dear. I am selfish. I need to think about myself and satisfy my needs".
By staying in the bed i thought about my wife words. Initially i felt bad about that and I cried a lot. After few days, i got used to that and moreover i am getting one crore in new contract.
After couple of weeks i got discharged after my breast augmentation. Doctor keeps me on heavy dosage of female hormones while I was in the hospital, which changed my thoughts and along with physical changes.
